Harold MacLean
Husband of Edna Joy Anthony, J.C Anthony Jr's sister. He opened Herman's Inn Restaurant, open 24 hours/day, 7 days/wk, in Monterey. He bought 250 acres in Carmel Valley to provide a source for chicken and beef for use in his restaurant. He sold the property in 1957. Harold was active in the Chamber of Commerce, and was on the Monterey Peninsula Unified School Board. He died in 1990.
