World War I Era photos
The Wayne Edwards Collection includes a large number of photos taken during training exercises of the 1st Kansas Infantry. The photos are generally labelled, although individuals are not typically identified. The photos depict soldiers at Fort Riley, Kansas and at an encampment at Eagle Pass, Texas at the border with Mexico. The photos were taken during 1915 and 1916. Below is a small sample of some of these photos.
